In my previous post, I had a goal in which I wanted to receive the netball shield. On Wednesday, our netball coach, Mr Chadwick, (he has his own blog page, go check it out here!), he awarded all of the netball players from this season a certificate for being a part of our team and helping us play every game. Luckily this year we were undefeated. Anyway after that, he presented the netball shield to three players. Unfortunately I was not part of those three. I was very happy for the winners and I wasn't going to stop playing netball or put myself down or be dissapointed. I was now going to work harder at my other goals because you're not going to be perfect and achieve everything if you don't work hard for it. But to me the phrase, 'Practice makes perfect', isn't true. Even if you work so, so hard to achieve or be perfect at something it might not happen. There will always be something for you to improve on. But my main point here is that even if you work really hard at something to achieve and you don't get it, it doesn't matter. Keep your head held up high and keep trying. 'Practice makes improvements'.

A very good point about practice not always making perfect and the importance of being happy with not being perfect.
